Students and staff from Tavola Elementary were recognized for their outstanding service at the NCISD Board of Trustees meeting on December 15, 2025. 

Tavola Elementary School Principal, Gispy Leal, and the board of trustees recognize Kristin Wilson (Outstanding Teacher), Sarah Camareno (Outstanding Paraprofessional), Erlinda Gonzalez (Outstanding Custodian), Melinda Butler (Outstanding Child Nutrition Employee), and Delilah Catchings (Outstanding Student).
